The route will be fully signed with flags, signs and numerous marshals on route, but as with any trail running event navigating the route is the runner's responsibility.

Trail Etiquette

As trail runners we pride ourselves on respecting the trails. We would ask you to do the same.

  • Please respect, be polite and give way to other users of the trails during the event.
  • Do not litter.
  • Keep to the marked route.

Polite Reminders

  • Earphones are allowed but must be removed when approaching the marshals – they may need to communicate with you.
  • No dogs to run during the event.

Medical / First Aid

There will be First Aid responders and a Paramedic located at the event finish area should anyone require first aid / medical assistance at the event.

Should you require First Aid at any other CP or location please contact Tim Bateson (07734309500). We will then arrange for First Aid at your location.

Trail Outlaws Tuck Shop

We will have a tuck shop serving hot/cold drinks, home-made bakes, snacks, sweets and treats. The Tuck Shop will be with the Trading Post, situated at the registration area. Please bring loose change as we can only use the card reader for purchases over £5.

Can't Attend / Virtual Option

If you can no longer make the race, then it is now too late to transfer to another person or event. (If you took out insurance you can make a claim with the insurance company.)

However, you can still get your race memento and medal by doing the event virtually. You simply need to run the equivalent distance within 6 weeks of the race and email evidence (Strava screenshot or similar) to admin@trailoutlaws.com and we will post your medal and memento to you.

Finally!

We are looking forward to meeting you all at Washington! There is a great atmosphere at Trail Outlaws events thanks to our fantastic runners and volunteers. The race marshals are there to cheer you on and stop you going the wrong way – so please thank them and give them a high five on the way round.

Come rain or shine bring your adventurous trail spirit and smile with you. Have a great time!
