The race finishes at the same place as the race start above.
Once you have finished we will kindly ask that you collect your medal and then move away from the race finish area.
There are toilets at Saint Robert of Newminster School. We have hired portaloo toilets that will be situated at the start / finish area.
There is 1 water/feed station that you will pass through twice, at miles 3 and 5 on the route. There will be water, pop and sweets so please help yourself.
There will also be water at the finish.
Please make sure you are familiar with the route, as shown on the Washington Trail 10K race page.
The route will be fully signed with flags, signs and numerous marshals on route, but as with any trail running event navigating the route is the runner's responsibility.
As trail runners we pride ourselves on respecting the trails. We would ask you to do the same.
There will be First Aid responders and a Paramedic located at the event finish area should anyone require first aid / medical assistance at the event.
Should you require First Aid at any other CP or location please contact Tim Bateson (07734309500). We will then arrange for First Aid at your location.
We will have a tuck shop serving hot/cold drinks, home-made bakes, snacks, sweets and treats. The Tuck Shop will be with the Trading Post, situated at the registration area. Please bring loose change as we can only use the card reader for purchases over £5.
The Trail Outlaws Trading Post will be located at race registration should you wish to purchase our fabulous and highly sought after merchandise, including Trail Outlaws hoodies, vests, long sleeve tops, buffs, collapsible cups and many other items.
If you can no longer make the race, then it is now too late to transfer to another person or event. (If you took out insurance you can make a claim with the insurance company.)
However, you can still get your race memento and medal by doing the event virtually. You simply need to run the equivalent distance within 6 weeks of the race and email evidence (Strava screenshot or similar) to admin@trailoutlaws.com and we will post your medal and memento to you.
We are looking forward to meeting you all at Washington! There is a great atmosphere at Trail Outlaws events thanks to our fantastic runners and volunteers. The race marshals are there to cheer you on and stop you going the wrong way – so please thank them and give them a high five on the way round.
Come rain or shine bring your adventurous trail spirit and smile with you. Have a great time!
